Goodness is a portmanteau of Vanessa Layug and Malcolm Goodwin. Vanessa and Malcolm met in an acting conservatory in a suburb of new york city. They became fast friends and eventually graduated together in 2003. Always inspired by their environs and independent thinking, together and separately they worked and hustled their ways into figuring out how to successfully mix art and business. In the fall of 2005, the two friends realized that there was something more to them than just friendship and happily fell in love.

Their common beliefs in positive reinforcement, supportive energy, successful living, and art brought them closer and closer to their goals. In the summer of 2007, Malcolm and Vanessa brought their heads together to create 'GOODNESS'. Giving GOOD stimulus through stylish, in your face pop culture and ways to bring about excellence in your everyday wear and living. Looking good starts from feeling good and we aim to generously assist you in that endeavor.
